Exit Survey

....and another one bites the dust...
here are some final thoughts from Lydia, one of our star virtual bookstore managers.
We'll miss you Lydia! Good luck at your new job! Tell Shanaynay we said "haaaaaay" :-)

-How long have you worked at this fine establishment?
1 year, 4 months

-How long after you took this job did you begin looking for a new job?
1 year, 3 months

-How many bosses have you worked for in your time here?
3

-What is the primary reason you are leaving?
$ and stress from the chaos

-What does F.A.S.T stand for?
Faculty Administrative Support Tool, ha ha I learned it today, j/k

-What’s the difference between a key account rep and a virtual bookstore manager?
just a different word for our title, "virtual" sounds more important and higher in position than "key," but they are the same thing

-What kind of skills have you acquired while working here?
how to make-up stuff when no seems to know what is going on or how to do things and to lie when we are on credit hold and can't get the book or send out a check for a buyback or refund for financial aid

-How do you think this job has prepared you for your next job?
I know how to find ways to do my work some way or another without having any training

-What piece of advice would you give to a new virtual bookstore manager?
when someone says "welcome to eCampus" like Allison Guffey said to me on my first day, it really means more than what you may initially think of it as....look at dealing with credit holds, chaos and pure confusion

-What has been the best thing about working here?
my cubicle buddies, listening to Corey rap and tap and Claudia, who is our wonderful event planner

-What has been the worst thing about working here?
the warehouse restrooms (feel sorry for whoever had to clean them!)
